When a gas engine inclines, starting of the engine is inhibited and rotation of the engine is stopped immediately if it is operating. A shut-off valve (21) is provided on a liquefied fuel passage (15) for supplying liquefied fuel from a cylinder (16) to a vaporizing chamber (14). The shut-off valve (21) is equipped with a diaphragm (28) onto which the pulsating pressure of a crank chamber (4) acts, and releases the liquefied fuel passage (15) when a negative pressure is applied to the diaphragm (28). An inclination shut-off valve (39) is provided on a pressure passage (34) for transmitting the pulsating pressure to the shut-off valve (21). The inclination shut-off valve (39) has a ball valve structure for releasing the pulsating pressure in the crank chamber (4) to the atmosphere in response to inclination. Since the diaphragm (28) cannot act when the pulsating pressure is released to the atmosphere, the liquefied fuel passage (15) stays shut off, and it is shut off quickly in response to inclination during operation.
