The invention concerns a device (1) for measuring the physico-chemical properties of the skin (8), in particular its pH and its oxidation state, comprising a multiple potentiostat (9) for generating, regulating and processing electrical voltages, connected to means (2) for measuring properties of the skin (8). The invention is characterized in that the measuring means comprise at least two working micro-electrodes (4) and one reference micro-electrode (56), each micro-electrode including an electrical insulating capillary tube wherein extends a wire whereof the free end (7) forms a disc adapted to be directly contacted with the skin during the measurements. The invention also concerns a method for using the measuring device.
