The method involves combining articles into groups of articles, and arranging on allocated location (KP) according to their group memberships. The article groups are formed in accordance with similarity of the articles in pairs, using electronic data processing equipment. A number or relative frequency of common occurrences of two of the articles is determined as similarity measurements in the picking orders. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a picking device for picking of choice of goods containing different articles (2) a computer program for picking of choice of goods containing different articles.
