<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision protection device for a vehicle capable of protecting even an object positioned in the rear of the vehicle from the impact of collision. <P>SOLUTION: Based on an image imaged by a rear camera 15 serving as a back guide monitor system 30, a control circuit 2 of a navigation device 1 determines whether or not the object existing in the rear of the vehicle collides with the vehicle.
