<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source tap for facilitating the management of a network configuration of power line communication. <P>SOLUTION: In the power source tap 10, a power source plug 12 is provided on its one end, an a plurality of outlets 14 (14-1 to 14-4) are provided on the other end. An RFID tag 16 is stuck or embedded on or in the power source plug 12. A power line communication (PLC) modem 18 is connected to a power line between the power source plug 12 and the outlets 14. An RFID tag reader 20 reads the identification information of RFID tags 32-1 and 32-2 added to the power source plugs 30-1 and 30-2 connected to the outlets 14. A control circuit 22 notifies a management server 46 of the identification information read by the RFID tag reader 20 together with the identification information of the power source tag 10, using the PLC modem 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
