<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize higher accuracy for rotation detection and detection of the absolute angle for a bearing having a rotation detecting device, capable of rotation-detection at the application of outer wheel rotation, simplifying a system for extracting signals and reducing the size. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetism generating means 2, having a directionality around a rotation center at the outer wheel 22 side of the bearing 20, is provided, and a sensor 3 detecting the magnetism of the magnetism generation means 2 and outputting information about the rotation or the angle is provided at a position of the axis center at the inner wheel 21 side. The sensor 3 is fixed to the end of an axis 10 assembled at the inner wheel 21 or the inside-diameter part of the inner wheel 21. A signal extraction means 28 which extracts the detection signal of the sensor through the inside of the axis 10 is provided.
