PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing apparatus capable of sufficiently preventing dust from entering thereinto, and inserting a disk without damaging the disk even when being inserted obliquely. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: a disk insertion opening 3 provided at the apparatus main body 1; an operation member 11 operated in association with insertion of the disk 13; a shutter 8 operated by receiving operation force from this operation member and closing the disk insertion opening in the inside of the apparatus main body; and an elastic member 12 provided at a shutter region opposing to a disk insertion peripheral edge.
