PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording/reproducing device capable of shortening retry time during mount processing when loading and reproducing the same optical disk once reproduced. SOLUTION: When the optical disk is loaded to start the mount processing and when readout processing to NBCA is performed, if the readout processing to the NBCA succeeds by retry, the retry information including information on the readout shift position of the optical pickup at that time is recorded in an RMA of the optical disk. When performing the readout processing to the NBCA the next time, the readout processing to the NBCA is performed on the basis of the recorded retry information. When again subjecting the optical disk with the shifted position of NBCA to the mount processing, the retry operation during the mount processing is smoothly performed to shorten the retry time, and the feeling in using the device is improved.
