PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency in regard to maintenance work for an elevator. SOLUTION: When a worker completes inspection work of a landing operating panel unit 6 in the vicinity of a landing door 5 and makes an IC tag reader/writer 2 approach to an IC tag 1 attached to the landing operating panel unit 6, information is read by using various types of information on the landing operating panel unit 6 stored in the IC tag 1 and output to a portable terminal 3. The portable terminal 3 saves input information, and transfers the information to terminal equipment 4 placed in an office of the worker. Based on the transferred information, the terminal equipment 4 produces maintenance work report data in accordance with a predetermined format, and displays the data on a monitor.
