Electronic system has a plug-in extension module (1) with an integral function. The module has a housing (2) with a connector strip (14-16) for cable cores. The housing (2) covers a conductor strip (20) with functional elements located between contacts on the strip or strips (14-16). The conductor strip further incorporates relays (21).
