<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus capable of surely cutting off the incidence of an external light on an optical system, being usable in a light room and having a high operability. <P>SOLUTION: The upper part of a support frame 6a attached with a chin rest 7 and a forehead rest is fixed with a fixed cover 10. The fixed cover 10 is attached with a movable cover 11 rotationally turning to a bottom-closed first position and an upper-opened second position. When the movable cover 11 is rotationally turned to the first position, the front part of a subject is covered with a front cover portion 11d to cut off the incidence of the external light from the front part on the optical system. The subject can rotationally turn the movable cover 11 to the second position to move the front cover portion 11d from the front part of the subject as necessary. In this state, an inspector can observe the eye part of the subject through a notch portion 10d of the fixed cover 10 and, even if using the ophthalmic apparatus in the light room, can secure the light shielded state and perform the ophthalmic measurement with reliability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
