<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of reducing a load as well as stabilizing communication quality in an MIMO communication system in which a transmitter performs AA transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver 100 is provided with a plurality of omnibus reception units 161, 162 for demodulating individual transmission signals S1, S2 in an omnibus system from signals X1, X2 received by each of a plurality of antennas 11a, 11b; a plurality of AA reception units 151, 152 for demodulating the individual transmission signals S1, S2 in an AA system; reception unit switching means 14a, 14b for switching a reception destination of each of the reception signals of each of the antennas between the omnibus reception unit and the AA reception unit; a reception signal quality detecting means 27 for detecting the signal quality of the reception signals: and a reception system determining means 28 for switching the reception destination to the omnibus reception unit if the signal quality of the reception signal to be detected by the reception signal quality detection means is good, and switching it to the AA reception unit if the signal quality is not good. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
