<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run for an automobile capable of being positioned relative to a flange and preventing surface sink on an appearance surface from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: The glass run for the automobile is equipped with a bottom wall 30 and both side walls 10, 20 forming a groove 31 having an approximately U shape cross section guiding door glass 200, both lips 11, 21 which extend from the both side walls 10, 20 folded to the inside, respectively, and slidingly contact with the door glass 200, and both moldings 12, 22 which extend from the side walls 10, 20 folded to the outside, respectively. The glass run 1 for the automobile is mounted to a door sash 300 by a pair of flanges 301, 302 provided on the door sash 300 in flange storage parts 13, 23 formed of the opposing side walls 10, 20 and the moldings 12, 22, respectively. The glass run for the automobile has projections 16, 26 which are projected from the side walls 10, 20 and abut to tips of the flanges 301, 302 in inserting at a position away from bottom surfaces 15, 25 in the flange storage parts 13, 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
