<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small stack excellently mountable in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This stack of a fuel cell is equipped with a plurality of membrane electrode assembly 1, a plurality of separators 2, a pair of end plates, bolts, and nuts. Each membrane electrode assembly 1 has an electrolyte membrane 3, a cathode pole 4 which is bonded to one surface of the electrolyte membrane 3 and to which air is supplied, and an anode pole 5 which is bonded to the other surface of the electrolyte membrane 3 and to which fuel is supplied. The separators 2 are each laminated while holding each membrane electrode assembly 1 between them, and each of them forms an air chamber 6 on each cathode pole 4 side, and a fuel chamber 7 on each anode pole 5 side. Each membrane electrode assembly 1 is held between nets made of a conductive metal. Both nets adjoing each other through each separator 2 are integrated by each welding part 20 together with the separator 2 so that cells 10 are each laid in series at the end part in the direction perpendicular to the laminated direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
