<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent pulling out a recording medium from a digital printing apparatus after printing is finished from being forgotten. <P>SOLUTION: When the recording medium 21 is loaded in a media drive 20, by locking a cover 58 for a print taking-out opening 52 to make it impossible to take out a print P in the print taking-out opening 52, it is prevented that only the print P is taken out while the recording medium 21 is loaded in the media drive 20 as it is by a user.
