<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device applicable to an imaging method adopting a crosslinkable inkjet ink which is free from a feathering/bleeding phenomenon, even in case whatever kind of a recording medium is used, and has high adhesive properties to a base material, high print quality and versatile applicability to a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This imaging device comprises a recording head for discharging inkjet ink to the recording medium, an active energy radiation irradiation means which irradiates the discharged ink with active energy radiations and a drying means for drying the recording medium to which the ink is discharged, wherein the inkjet ink includes at least a coloring material, water, a polymer compound having a hydrophilic main chain, and a plurality of side chains which can crosslink each other by irradiating them with active energy radiations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
