<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor reducing block distortion generated in enlarging a color image, with a small amount of processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with an original image holding means for holding an original image having a plurality of color components; an image block acquiring means for acquiring a plurality of image blocks of predetermined size for each of the plurality of color components from the original image held by the original image holding means: a similar image detecting means for detecting similar image blocks from the original image for every acquired image block; and a similar image block arranging means for arranging the similar image blocks detected by the similar image detecting means, in association with the original image blocks.
