<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter device without the need for the removal an imaging catheter and reintroduction of a treatment catheter, optimally treating vessel blockage under image monitoring in which detailed image information is obtained both in the local area and the remote area. <P>SOLUTION: In a treatment catheter device constituted together with a position sensor system for treating partial and/or complete vessel blockage under image monitoring, the catheter device (1) is provided with the treatment catheter for treating the vessel blockage especially by removal and/or destruction of plaque and/or expansion of a blood vessel.
