PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for optical materials, which has high transparency, high heat resistance, and high productivity, a resin film for optical materials, and an optical waveguide using them. SOLUTION: The resin composition for optical materials contains a fluorene di(meth)acrylate represented by general formula (1) (A), and a photopolymerization initiator (B). In formula (1), X is represented by formula (II), Y is a hydrogen or a methyl group, and (m) and (n) are respectively integers of 1-20. Here in formula (II), R1-R16 are respectively independently a hydrogen, a 1-12C alkyl group, a 1-6C alkoxy group, a 2-7C alkoxycarbonyl group as total carbon atoms, a 6-10C aryl group, or a 7-9C aralkyl group.
