<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow battery system prepared in a power generation system, in which an electric power that is charged in the redox flow battery always becomes the power generated by the power generation system. <P>SOLUTION: This redox flow battery system 1 is provided with the redox flow battery 10 which is installed in the power generation system 100 equipped with a wind power generator 2 and juxtaposed with the generator 2, and provided with an AC-DC converter 14 which is connected with this battery 10 and carries out the output control of the battery 10. The battery system 1 is equipped with an electric power measurement means 4 for measuring the electric power supplied to an electric power system 3 from the power generation system 100 and a control means 6 for controlling the AC-DC converter 14. The control means 6 has a determination part to determine to make the electric power output value of the battery 10 zero when the measurement electric power value is not more than a set electric power value, and determines to carry out the output control of the battery 10 when the measurement electric power value exceeds the set electric power value.
