PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for changing over modes such as a photographing mode, a non-photographing mode, or the like by moving a sliding cover (a lens cover). SOLUTION: The image sensing device 1 has an imaging lens 2 and a stroboscopic emitter 3 on a first main surface 6a, and has a box body 6 having a subject display unit 5 on a second main surface 6b opposed to the first main surface 6a and the sliding cover 7 being slidably fitted on the first main surface 6a and covering the imaging lens 2 and the stroboscopic emitter 3. The sliding cover 7 can be moved among the place of the photographing mode exposing the imaging lens, the place of the non-photographing mode covering the imaging lens 2 and the stroboscopic emitter 3, and the place of a reproduction mode conducting a reproduction by the subject display section while covering the imaging lens and the stroboscopic emission section.
