PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanized rubber excellent in shape retaining properties. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the long vulcanized rubber having a hollow and/or cantilevered cross sectional shape, a rubber composition is continuously extruded vertically before vulcanization and the extruded rubber composition is supplied into a vulcanizer to be vulcanized while moved vertically with respect to a longitudinal direction. The vulcanizer is preferably either one of a hot air vulcanizer, a microwave vulcanizer, an infrared heating vulcanizer and an electron beam vulcanizer.
