PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature brazing method for an aluminum alloy casting, by which a sound joint is obtained even in brazing in a furnace by using a brazing filler metal excellent in wettability and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: Slurry of an aluminum alloy brazing filler metal is prepared by suspending a powdery aluminum alloy brazing filler metal, which contains 23-37 mass% Cu, 4-10 mass% Si, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and has 10-100μm average particle diameter, and a fluoride-based flux, which contains≥11 mass% CsF as a solid, in a dispersion medium. After the slurry is applied on the surface of the brazing part of an aluminum alloy casting to be brazed or the other member to be brazed, the other member to be brazed is attached to the brazing part, on which the aluminum alloy slurry is applied, and then the attached body is heated.
