PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus more thinned by solving a fault in the thinning of an actuator due to terminal projections and an optical disk apparatus using the optical pickup apparatus. SOLUTION: A movable part 25 is supported on a fixing part 26 by elastic supporting members 16a to 16f of which one end is fixed on a supporting base body 17 and the other end is fixed on a terminal projection 27 of a lens holding member 15, and windings of driving coils connected to the terminal projections 27 are electrically connected to the elastic supporting members 16a to 16f. In this case, the terminal projections 27 adjacent to each other in the height direction of the lens holding member 15 are projected from the surface of the lens holding member 15 in respectively different directions.
