PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a apparatus for manufacturing a cemented lens, whereby the optical axes of lenses composing the cemented lens are precisely aligned, the peak value of the light intensity of the lens is maximum, and the light intensity distribution is symmetrical to the optical axis of the lens. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is for the cemented lens 6 in which the lenses 6a and 6b are cemented via an adhesive. In the manufacturing method, the adhesive is applied to the lens faces to cement the lenses 6a and 6b, and axis adjustment light for mutually aligning the lenses 6a and 6b is made incident on the cemented lens 6 while the adhesive is not hardened. Subsequently, the light intensity distribution of the axis adjustment light passed through the cemented lens 6 is measured. According to the light intensity distribution, the lenses 6a and 6b of the cemented lens 6 are adjusted in terms of displacement in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis, inclination to the optical axis, and a lens interval along the optical axis.
