PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of uniforming the temperature distribution of a temperature switching chamber. SOLUTION: The refrigerator having the temperature switching chamber 3 comprises a blower 14 delivering cold air produced in a cooling device 17, into the temperature switching chamber 3; a temperature switching chamber discharge damper 13 opening/closing a lead-in ventilation flue 12 serving for communication between the cooling device 17 and the blower 14; and a temperature switching chamber return damper 20 opening/closing a return ventilation flue 19 serving for communication between the cooling device and an outflow port 33b through which air in the temperature switching chamber flows out, and opening/closing a communicating line 36 serving for communication between the outflow port and the intake side of the blower. The communicating line 36 is closed and the return ventilation flue 19 is opened by the temperature switching chamber return damper 20, and the temperature switching chamber discharge damper 13 is opened to drive the blower 14 to thereby lead cold air into the temperature switching chamber 3. The communicating line 36 is opened and the return ventilation flue 19 is closed by the temperature switching chamber return damper 20, and the temperature switching chamber discharge damper 13 is closed to drive the blower 14 to thereby circulate air in the temperature switching chamber 3.
