PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device capable of preventing rainwater from infiltrating into a geared motor of an electric shutter and suitable particularly for air supply. SOLUTION: The ventilating device comprises opening/closing blades 4 turned within a vertical plane in a ventilation opening 2 opened facing the outdoors, and the electric shutter constituted to slide a shutter interlocking plate 5 by the geared motor to open/close the opening/closing blades 4. An opening 10 for leading out a power transmission wire 9 of the geared motor 3 is provided downward, and the wire 9 of the geared motor 3 is led downward out of the opening 10 to move the opening/closing blades 4 by the wire 9.
