PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect fine chips with a small and simple structure by providing a fan and a dust collecting filter between a cutting edge of a drill and a shaft of a motor, and also, by covering the circumference thereof with a freely telescopic bellows or the like in a dust collector for collecting fine chips scattering from the cutting edge of the drill. SOLUTION: The dust collector comprises the fan provided between a drill shaft of the drill and a chuck fixing the cutting edge, the filter provided in front of or at the rear of the fan for collecting the fine chips, and a cover with a freely telescopic part covering the cutting edge that has an air inlet hole for taking in air from outside near the cutting edge and an air exhaust hole for discharging air after removing the fine chips with the filter to outside.
