PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a joint structure that can be joined with another material without requiring a joining member, material or device for welding, an adhesive or the like. SOLUTION: The joint structure has a plurality of columnar structures 1 each having a radius of 500 nm or less on a substrate surface, with the layout spacing, length, radii of the columnar structures 1 partially varying. The top end of the columnar structure 1 is a sphere having a radius of 300 nm or less. The columnar structure 1 is made of a material having a dielectric constant of 2 or larger. The flexural modulus of the columnar structure is 5 GPa or less. The aspect ratio of the columnar structure 1 is 1 to 15. The columnar structure 1 is coated with a thin film having a thickness of 300 nm or less. The columnar structures 1 are formed integrally with a substrate by a transfer method to obtain the joint structure 1.
