PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve inconveniences in the case where the stored level of the cereal grains in a cereal grain-storing tank is difficult to determine stepwisely, successively and exactly, and also the put-in cereal grains overflow from the tank. SOLUTION: This device for detecting the stored amount of the cereal grains is characterized by installing a sensitivity-switching part 3 for switching the sensitivity of detected signal for the change of static electric volume to the stored amount-detecting means A for detecting the stored level of the cereal grains stored in the cereal grain storage tank 1 by the change of the static electric volume between an opposing pair of electrodes by taking a suitable distance, and also installing the stored amount-detecting means A by arranging in an up and down direction at the near position for avoiding straight hits with the input cereal grains to be stored in the cereal grain storage tank 1.
