A stable polyacetal resin composition in which the amount of formaldehyde to be generated is on an extremely low level and which, even when placed in a closed space, does not adversely influence coexistent moldings of other resins. The polyacetal resin composition is characterized in that it comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyacetal resin and (B) 0.01-5.0 parts by weight of a carboxylic acid hydrazide compound and that the carboxylic acid hydrazide compound (B), upon 10-minute heating at 200°C, generates hydrazine in an amount of 10 ppm or smaller in an examination by the head-space GC/MS method.
