<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfection and sterilization method suited to disinfect or sterilize an endoscope and the like and capable of exerting a sufficient sterilizing effect on spores with strong resistance in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This disinfection or sterilization method for medical equipment such as the endoscope is characterized by combining a process using bactericide, for example, carboperoxoic acid with ultraviolet irradiation using, for example, ultraviolet light with wavelength of 300 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
