摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium that does not adhere to a clamp in a high temperature and high humidity environment even when an ink receiving layer is provided up to a clamp area. <P>SOLUTION: The first information recording medium includes a substrate 14 and an ink receiving layer 11 disposed on one main face of the substrate 14. The water contact angle of the surface of the ink receiving layer 11 is at least 85&deg; and at most 110&deg;. The surface of the ink receiving layer 11 is provided with protrusions with a height of at least 4 &mu;m. The number of the protrusions is at least 20 pcs/mm<SP>2</SP>and at most 100 pcs/mm<SP>2</SP>. Furthermore, in a second information recording medium, the ink receiving layer 11 contains particles 15 with a particle size of at least 20 &mu;m. The particles 15 include particles 15a that are exposed partially on the surface of the ink receiving layer 11.
