SOUND INSULATING CEILING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating ceiling device capable of reducing noise of a wide frequency band up to a high frequency band from a low frequency band.

SOLUTION: This lower story side sound insulating ceiling device is arranged under an upper story side floor part F in a building of a two-storied building or more. A ceiling support frame 1 is fixed to a lower part of the upper story side floor part F. A flexible sheet 3 of regularly fixing a weight 2 at a specific interval to a surface, is stretched on the upper side of the ceiling support frame 1. A sound absorbing layer 5 such as glass wool is arranged on the lower side of the sheet 3 with the weight 2 via an air layer 4. A ceiling board 7 such as a gypsum board having a large transmission loss is arranged via a ceiling backing 6 on the lower side of the ceiling support frame 1 positioned on the lower side of the sound absorbing layer 5.
