摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of suppressing a plurality of kinds of luminance unevenness, and to provide an electrooptical device, electronic equipment, and a data generating method. <P>SOLUTION: Luminance of respective electrooptical elements U is corrected according to a correction value A1 and a correction value A2. Processing units Pk (P1, P2) each includes a memory 41 which stores increase/decrease specification data Dk specifying a direction of an increase or decrease in a correction value Ak of each of electrooptical elements U which are adjacent in an X direction, a setting circuit 43 which stores a correction unit quantity Ck, and a correction value determining circuit 45 which calculates a numeral obtained by varying a correction value Ak of each electrooptical element U by the correction unit quantity Ck in the direction that the increase/decrease specification data Dk indicate as the correction value Ak for other electrooptical elements U adjacent to the electrooptical element U in the X direction. The correction unit quantity C1 of the processing unit P1 and the correction unit quantity C2 of the processing P2 are different from each other.
