<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing angle control body that can control a viewing angle on a display screen while suppressing decrease in luminance, color changes in white light and color changes in a black region even when the control body is disposed in a linearly polarized light environment in a liquid crystal display device where keeping of a linearly polarized state is required. <P>SOLUTION: The viewing angle control body comprises a louver layer 1 having alternately arranged light transmitting zones 11 and light shielding zones 12, a first transparent protective layer 2 layered on one surface of the louver layer, and a second transparent protective layer 3 layered on the other surface of the louver layer, wherein the first transparent protective layer 2 and the second transparent protective layer 3 are disposed with the respective slow phase axes intersecting orthogonal to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
