STOPPER FOR AIR SPRING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper for air spring capable of nonstepwise adjusting the height of the stopper. SOLUTION: An upper metal fitting 13 and a lower metal fitting 14 are provided at upper and lower ends of a rubber cylinder body 12 and a nozzle 16 is provided for the lower metal fitting 14. A reinforcing cord 17 lopsided in bias directions is embedded in the rubber cylinder body 12. The bias directions of the reinforcing cord 17 is set as two directions crossing each other. Air is injected into and discharged through an inner space 15 from the nozzle 16 to change its inner pressure. A cord angle to a center axis of the rubber cylinder body 12 is changed between a set cord angle and a stable cord angle. The length of the rubber cylinder body 12 in the center axis direction is changed by changing the cord angle and the height of the stopper is continuously adjusted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
