PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact switching device with excellent operability and a simple structure, realizing different switching operations for pushing, rotation, and rocking operations by one operating knob. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a case 1, an operating shaft 3, an outer striker 5 supporting a flange 3a at the center of the operating shaft 3 with the operating shaft 3 in a penetrated state so that the operating shaft 3 to be free in rocking and rotation movement, an inner striker 6 arranged inside the outer striker 5 and supporting the flange 3a from a lower side with the operating shaft in a penetrated state, an operating knob 4 fitted at a top end of the operating shaft 3 protruded from inside the case, a push switch 11 incorporating contacts enabling the striker 6 to move and switch as the operating shaft 3 is moved by a pushing operation of the operating knob 4, and a fixed contact formed on a substrate 7 capable of switching as the operating knob 4 is rotated to rotate the operating shaft 3 and as the operating knob 4 is rocked to rock the operating shaft 3.
