PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To double a memory again without restarting a system after the end of dump. SOLUTION: A write control part 11 refers to a dump flag 16 to confirm the necessity of dump and controls an initialization control part 14 so as to initialize only a master memory 2. While the dump flag is "1", the write control part 11 and a read control part 12 perform control so as to allow only the master memory 2 to be accessed. After the end of initialization of the master memory 2, a status of initialization completion is returned, and an OS is started. Write processing of memory dump is performed for a slave memory 3. Processing of reading data of the slave memory 3 and writing the data to a disk 4 is performed by a dump write control part 17. After the end of the write, the dump status control part 15 initializes the slave memory 3 by the write control part 11. A mirrored configuration is given to the master memory 2 and the slave memory 3 by the mirroring control part 13 in response to the end of initialization. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
