PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause no change in clearance between connection parts and connection openings every time a truck frame and crawler units are disassembled and assembled, and to effectively fill the clearance by installing one interval adjusting member for each crawler unit, namely, a total of two interval adjusting members. SOLUTION: In a crawler type traveling body, a hydraulic cylinder 23 to which hydraulic piping 19 from a hydraulic motor 18 for traveling is connected, is installed on a side face of a side frame 14 so as to lean to one side the clearance formed on the connection opening 21 on a side closer to a drive wheel 15 of the side frame 14. A pressing plate 24 pivotally supported on a tip end of a piston rod 23a is adapted for pressing a side face of the connection part 13. The clearance formed between the two connection parts 13 and 13, and the connection openings 21 and 21 in which the connection parts 13 and 13 are fitted is leaned to one side, and a shim is inserted into the clearance.
