PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required till recapturing and reduce the workload of an operator by determining the necessity/non-necessity of the recapturing based on projection images obtained during a CT scan. SOLUTION: This radiographic image processing apparatus acquires a frame P1 and a frame P2 of the projection image by the CT scan in order (S101-S103), and calculates difference information thereof (S104). Sequentially, this apparatus compares the difference information with a threshold, when it is smaller than the threshold, continues the CT scan, when it exceeds the threshold, determines to need the recapturing (S105) and finishes the operation. When determining to continue the CT scan, this apparatus determines whether acquisition of all the planned projection images are finished or not (S106). When it is not finished yet, the apparatus acquires a next frame (S107-S108) and repeatedly executes the processes after the calculation (S104) of the difference information. When the acquisition of all the planned projection images are finished in S106, the apparatus reconstructs the CT images from the frames P1-Px (S109) and finishes the operation.
