PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a control mode allowing a user to get off without uneasiness in a chair with a standing-up assisting function frontward inclined after a seat is fully raised. SOLUTION: This chair is provided with a detecting means (a limit switch) detecting the upper end when the seat 1 is fully raised. When an operation switch 11 is upward raised, the seat 1 moves upward, and when it is fully raised, a sensor is turned on and the movement of the seat 1 is stopped. When the seat stops, the operation switch 11 is in a reset state and when the user looses the hold and executes a raising operation again, the seat 1 is started to incline frontward.
