PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the quick cleaning of an incidentally generated stain such as the spill out of water or food. SOLUTION: When a person finds a stain (a position of a subject of cleaning) 21, he or she places for example, a marker 22 having a radio communication function at the position. Since a radio signal is transmitted from the marker 22, a robot 11 having an autonomic traveling function, a floor cleaning function and the radio communication function recognizes the transmission of a demand of the cleaning. Then, the robot 11 gradually approaches the position of the transmission while measuring for example, the intensity of a radio wave or the like and decides a cleaning area by searching the marker 22 to execute the cleaning.
