<p>The animals to be milked are positioned on top of a slowly rotating platform (4) and the farmer or other milking person in a depression (11) in the center of the platform (4). A carrying platform (3,9) is located underneath the upper element (4) as well as threaded bars (19) for adjusting the distance between them. Both parts (3,4,9) are guided along a circular rail (25). A gap (7) between the two units (3,9) of the carrying platform can be filled with compressed air or a hydraulic fluid in order to serve as a buffer area. An independent claim is given for a method for milking the animals.</p> |
