<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely conduct identity verification when a visitor enters a security area of a company and public facility or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An interviewer 10 arranges a code number in determining an interview date by advance telephone communication or the like with a visitor 1, and registers a belonging organization name, a full name of the visitor 1, and a password in a visitor authentication system. When the visitor 1 visits, the visitor utilizes an OCR 6 or a barcode reader 8 at a reception 3 to input either one of the belonging organization name, or the full name, and inputs the previously informed password.
