<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reserving a printing job without eliminating the printing job added to a printing queue once. <P>SOLUTION: In a color laser printer 1, the printing job transmitted from a computer 150 is stored in a RAM 93, and a plurality of printing jobs arranged in the printing queue are successively printed by an image forming part 5. Furthermore, at least one printing job out of the printing jobs arranged in the printing queue is made to drop out of the printing queue, and then printing by a printing means is reserved.
