摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and assembling property of an engine case and compact an engine. SOLUTION: The engine case 6 is formed in a divided structure comprising an upper case 32 and a lower case 33. Their mating face 34 is formed straight in a vehicle sideview. A crankshaft 41, a speed change input shaft 42 and a secondary balancer shaft 43, which extend in a vehicle width direction, are rotatably supported at the mating face 34, and a speed change output shaft 44 rotatively driven by the speed change input shaft 42 is rotatably supported on the lower case 33. The mating face 34 is sloped down to the right in the vehicle sideview, and the second balancer shaft 43, the crankshaft 41 and the speed change input shaft 42 are disposed in this order from before in a vehicle traveling direction.
