PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microactuator which improves precision in positioning and reliability when a magnetic head slider is mounted. SOLUTION: The microactuator 10 is provided with; a base part 11 connected to a flexure; a pair of arm parts 12 and 13 connected to the base part; and PZT elements 12a and 13a which are mounted on the arm parts, respectively, and expand or contract based on applied driving signals. The microactuator 10 holds a magnetic head slider with the pair of arm parts. In addition, the arm parts are provided with supporting means 12b and 13b, respectively, which support an opposite side to an ABS forming face of the magnetic head slider.
