PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet member, wherein a plurality of optical functional sheets used for allowing light of a light source arranged on the rear surface side of a liquid crystal panel to serve as surface emission light of desired luminance and uniformity are simply and accurately set in a case and, moreover, the assembling efficiency of a backlight device is increased. SOLUTION: The optical sheet member 20 used for the backlight device 1 is constituted so that the plurality of optical functional sheets such as a light diffusion sheet 201 and a prism sheet 203 are stacked and, on a non-effective region, are bound.
