PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the alteration of the viewing angle for an image display device. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a viewing angle switch button 104 for switching the viewing angle of a liquid crystal display device 5 to its wide or narrow angle. When the viewing angle of the liquid crystal display device 5 is switched to the wide angle by the operation of depressing the viewing angle switch button 104, a friend or the like playing next to a player is allowed to be shown a performance image or the like displayed on the liquid crystal display device 5. On the other hand, when the viewing angle of the liquid crystal display device 5 is switched to the narrow angle by the operation of depressing the viewing angle switch button 104, a stranger or the like playing next to the player is refused a secret look at the performance image or the like displayed on the liquid crystal display device 5.
